Changeover
June 16th 2020
Another first being a ZOOM change-over. Club was addressed by the incoming DG 20/21, David Clark. David expressed his pleasure at attending our ZOOM meeting and noted that we were one of the first to use the medium in the District and that it appeared to be very successful. David’s message to members was that to interest people in Rotary we should engage them in discussing the great moments we as individuals have experienced when out and about doing Rotary work. David reminisced on his time in the Philippines and his experiences and said that often these sorts of stories were those that caused people to engage with Rotary as it sparked an interest that they could also do this sort of work and have similar experiences.

The business part of the evening was then conducted with President John presenting Roger Grey with a Sapphire to add to his PHF. As John stated this award was for Rogers support over the year and his hard work in re-organising how the club would be run

A Blog?
No one has stepped forward to take over the considerable efforts and excellent work done by Ian on Bally Barker.
