It was sad news to learn that Peter Kaill passed away on 2 nd August 2022, aged 92. His funeral was held on Wed 24 th August at Northern Suburbs Crematorium.   Peter and wife Margaret actively supported and attended many club functions in recent years, but their greatest times were spending time and occasions with the family their 3 children and 6 grandchildren.   Peter ran a very successful Hardware business on Sydney Road Balgowlah for many years then his eldest son, James took it over when Peter retired. On Tuesday August 23 our club members met at the facilities of Lifeline Northern Beaches in Balgowlah where many of their programs and operations were explained, and we had a great opportunity to view their facilities. Initially we assembled in the Lifeline shop which had an amazing array of quality goods and memorabilia One interesting aspect of the shop’s items called Altered State is the makeup of innovative ways of making unique items from unsalable donations. I notice it was written up in the latest edition of the Tawny Frogmouth.
