Vale - Peter Kaill
It was sad news to learn that Peter Kaill passed away on 2 nd August 2022, aged 92. His funeral was held on Wed 24 th August at Northern Suburbs Crematorium. Peter and wife Margaret actively supported and attended many club functions in recent years, but their greatest times were spending time and occasions with the family their 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Peter ran a very successful Hardware business on Sydney Road Balgowlah for many years then his eldest son, James took it over when Peter retired. Peter was a keen sailor and an ardent member of Middle Harbour Yacht Club where he sailed competitively for many years including the Sydney to Hobart yacht race Peter joined Rotary as inaugural member of the club in 1974 - in fact started the Balgowlah Club with John Havilah.
